Some interesting key words lately I have been noticing in my web stats..."spray tanning between breasts and under" I think people are having some issues with this area and I would love to address it.
In my experience thru the years of doing airbrush tanning and now HVLP as well the area of the breast's is a delicate situation. The pores here can actually be on the larger side on some women, and if this area gets sprayed to heavily with solution can leave the skin looking like it has blackheads the next day. NOT quite what you had in mind I'm sure is it?? Your part: scrub this area very well several times before your session, you can also treat this area with some witch hazel or a gentle toner too, to help with pores an hour or so before your spray tan. This will help tighten them some and you can also use a cold washcloth then follow up with the toner to help close the pores. One other thing that can lead to splotchyness here is women who directly apply perfume to the area right above breasts and between. Spray your clothes NOT your skin and that should help. Technician: The person spraying you should take into consideration your pore size on your chest and face area and not spray to much or spray a little father away. If pore size on the face is larger you can bet the skin between the breasts is similar and adjust accordingly. Peeling spray tan: This can be a combination of things, not exfoliating well and on a regular basis and possibly product or oils on the chest prior to spraying. If you don't keep up with lotion as well it can make matters even worse. I know great right?! Doing a prep right before your session will help remove any product residue and natural oil accumulation from the skin as well. Ask beforehand if the place your going to offers a skin prep like I do before they spray you. Especially if you have had this problem in the past. Communicate that with the tech spraying you so that she knows and can adjust her technique. Down Under...Last but not least is spraying under the girls, this is also a tricky area as the skin on skin contact will leave the solution in a moist place where it can't properly dry like the rest of your body. I usually spray just once underneath as I would rather it be slightly lighter than "orange" or have streaks if you spray to much. If you are large breasted I suggest wearing a strapless old bra to cut down on any issues. Hope this help you! Cheers!

So I have tried working from a salon before where I sit and wait for my clients instead of a session in the comfort of their home. It didn't work out so well, I realized the reason alot of clients seek me out IS because I'm mobile and they get how nice it is to have a personalized service at home.
With that being said there are still some people who would rather come to me, in my quest to find the right balance I have found a cute little salon on the eastside in Bellevue. I will be offering by appointment only sessions and that way if I don't have any salon appts. I can still take mobile and be available for my mobile clients. Best of both worlds! Not to mention the Esto at this skin salon does the exclusive Oxygen facial that Madonna does and she was trained personally by Madonna's Esto!! She did the facial on me and I could NOT believe my skin and how it took away the "bags" under my eyes...YIPPEE! Details are coming soon...will keep you all posted! I recently have been seeing a new way to offer my clients who necessarily don't want to much color but to help correct uneven skin tones or tan lines from the summer sun.
Sunless can do this in a realistic way as long as you stay on the lighter side its very natural looking. As we go from summer to fall you can still add some depth with sunless and with the rich colors for fall a sexy glow is a must accessory!! I have also seeing an increase in Brides who just want to even out their skin tone versus looking tan or my fave is to work with my Brides and a Professional Makeup artist of course for your day so that all is beautifully matched. The sunless when kept light takes the edge off the flashes as night falls as well and if your getting married in the evening I highly recommend a subtle glow so your not washed out with lighting and the many camera flashes! Cheers Lovelies! Yeah coming up this Wednesday 18th is Crave's summer party at Shilshole Bay from 6-9pm come by say hello to me in person and get a quickie glow maybe on your legs or face and chest!?
I will be there with some other rockin gals and its only 35.00 a ticket and the services are complimentary! Its a great girls nite and a fun way to try a service you have been curious about! I hope to see you beauty's there!! I think this issue of course is the biggest one with sunless tanning besides the tan not lasting long enough.
I have had many new clients tell me "but I don't want to look orange?!" This I totally understand and I always try to help you understand it as well and what the causes of this NOT so pretty problem with sunless tanning. The 2 biggest reasons you turn orange are... 1. Going to dark for your skin tone will just plain look fake and orange on you. The goal should always be to look like you but even prettier...Period. I think to leave people guessing as to what you did is my biggest compliment to my skills. I have lots of clients who tell me they are so surprised at how natural they look compared to last experience. 2. Being sprayed heavily can turn you orange as well, your skin can only absorb so much and excess solution is just not a good combo. Not to mention bad fading and IF you have gone to dark as well then can you say...spotted ooompa loompa? eeek! Your artist should always consult with you and your desired result so that you do not have an Orange look to your skin tone. hope this helps you understand a little about the Orange Factor in sunless tanning!
