I think this issue of course is the biggest one with sunless tanning besides the tan not lasting long enough.
I have had many new clients tell me "but I don't want to look orange?!" This I totally understand and I always try to help you understand it as well and what the causes of this NOT so pretty problem with sunless tanning. The 2 biggest reasons you turn orange are... 1. Going to dark for your skin tone will just plain look fake and orange on you. The goal should always be to look like you but even prettier...Period. I think to leave people guessing as to what you did is my biggest compliment to my skills. I have lots of clients who tell me they are so surprised at how natural they look compared to last experience. 2. Being sprayed heavily can turn you orange as well, your skin can only absorb so much and excess solution is just not a good combo. Not to mention bad fading and IF you have gone to dark as well then can you say...spotted ooompa loompa? eeek! Your artist should always consult with you and your desired result so that you do not have an Orange look to your skin tone. hope this helps you understand a little about the Orange Factor in sunless tanning! Cheers!

So this time of year is of course wedding bell's season and with that comes beautiful Brides! I have my share of them and they are so cute to work with, they are nervous, excited and yes a little on the demanding side but hey those pictures will last a lifetime!
When doing your sunless session for your most special day you want to take a few things in mind...mainly that you look like you only even prettier :) Setting off your eyes, smile and evening out skin tones or tan lines is what is should be about. You do not want to look back and look at those pictures and dread that to dark spray tan...No retakes here. When you make an appointment chat with the artist and see what her philosophy is when it comes to Brides and if she works with alot of them. If you have time 2 weeks before the wedding do a trial run believe me its worth the money, after all how much are those wedding pictures costing you? Do your prep like nothing else even scrub those pinkie toes girl! The artist should always put you at ease and discuss your desired outcome. The only time I use a darker solution is if my client is naturally darker skin or is always tan looking anyway that way it will still look like her in the picts NOT someone else.
