I have been in this industry a long time and have seen lots of solutions and trends come and go, the most recent in the last 2yrs is Organic solutions.
Many salons are claiming to have Organic solutions which in fact they are NOT they do contain organic ingredients but to be considered 100% Organic every listed ingredient must be ORGANIC!! the cosmetic bronzer in most solutions is made of FD&C food coloring which is usually the last item listed but its not organic, the other items must be organic as well like the glycerine, aloe, DHA must be eco-certified if it does not say that its NOT organic. I'm pointing this out as I have had clients ask me if my solutions are Organic and when I tell them how it works in this industry its consfusing for them; especially when the last place they had a sunless tan told them they use 100% Organic solutions. They do make solutions without the FD&C food coloring and use Organic carmel coloring which I used to use as well. The BIG problem with that is its very sticky and every client I have come across HATES being sticky for the next 10-12hrs! but still not every ingredient is Organic?! I do LOTS of research every week on new products or newly updated lines and I personally use solutions that have natural and organic properties in them as much as possible. Along with anti-aging, skin conditioning ingredients as well, so that your skin feels soft as well as glowing and pretty. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this blog, I'm passionate about what I do and if someone know of a solution that is really 100% organic I would love to know about it!!! :)

Hey,

I believe that when it comes to organic tanning, there's no other great source of all natural tan but the sun. However, when they claim that their products are really organic and they have enough proof to support it, all the tanners can do is to try it. But if it says that the product is US FDA approved, then there's nothing to worry about.
